Cài đặt Office 2007 khi cài WinXP sp2 từ USB

Khi cài office 2007 trong WinXP sp2 từ ổ USB bạn gặp lỗi sau: "The windows installer service cannot update one or more protected windows"

Làm theo hướng dẫn sau đây để khắc phục:

1. Vào thư mục i386 trong ổ USB hoặc đĩa cài WinXP, tìm file FP40EXT.CAB.
2. Extract toàn bộ file trong file nén FP40EXT.CAB vào thư mục sau c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\40\bin (Thực ra chỉ cần copy file fp4ault.dll nầy thôi)
3. Sau đó khởi động lại máy và cài lại Office 2007.
4. Chú ý: Trong khi cài Office 2007 nhớ cắt mạng và tắt hết các chương trình diệt virus. Nếu không, khi cài đặt sẽ gặp lỗi "Error 2203. An internal error has occurred. (C:\Windows\Installer\986af5.msi - 2147287008) Contact Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS) for assistance. Following this message are some instructions on how to contact PSS."
